- FIRST EVER NEW ENGLAND CONCERT -
From Mexico, Erk Aicrag (lyrics & vocals) and Racso Agroyam (programming), these two angry survivors of the physical and mental violence rising daily on the streets of Mexico City, founded the electro band Hocico in 1993.
A spider with six legs, which has a H on its back is the symbol of both cousins who share their musical experiences and interests from their childhood. With a Yamaha keyboard Racso began at the age of 15 to experiment with electronic music, mixing industrial and EBM.
Given the influence of varying currents of electronic music (mainly Skinny Puppy) they began their trajectory in 1989 in a project called "Niñera Degenerada". As well as Hocico both cousins also have side projects, Agroyam has a side project called Dulce Liquido, while Aicrag has one called Rabia Sorda.
"We won't change something or someone. The people should find out alone. We only want to show our personal point of view. If they agree, good, if not, it's good too. It's better if people think about that themselves." HOCICO
+ SUPPORT FROM
Repli><cant... Driving beat driven electronic kinetics with dark undertones and melodic overtones. Repli><cant is an offshoot project from two other very much alive Philly bands: doppelganga-klockenhouzer...michael skye-lust for nothing (both still alive and thriving).
Synthwave, darkwave, electronica, industro-electro, cyberlike... oh now with the genres and the subgenres!! just dance!
Transdusk is the alias of multi-instrumentalist, T.S. Moth. Drawing inspiration from cyberpunk films of the 80’s and 90’s, paleontology, and Buddhist and Hindu philosophy/iconography, T.S. composes industrial metal sonically informed by punk, goth, and gypsy jazz chord voicings.
Currently, T.S. is working on his yet-to-be-revealed third album that will not only carry on the hallmarks of his previous releases, but explore new dynamics as well.
